Kasomo Productions s'engage à soutenir les cinéastes qui montrent du potentiel et s'intéressent à la réalisation de films. 2022 est la première année de ce programme et KP est heureux d'annoncer que deux candidats de l'Institut National des Arts (INA) ont reçu la bourse. Kasomo Production est reconnaissant au directeur général et aux membres de la faculté d'avoir permis et facilité cette nouvelle collaboration et ce nouveau partenariat.
Pour l'instant, la bourse KP prend en charge tous les frais de scolarité des lauréats sélectionnés pour leur dernière année dans leur domaine d'études. Les candidats sont choisis par les membres du corps enseignant et de l'administration de leur établissement sur la base de leurs performances dans leur domaine d'études artistiques respectif au cours des années d'études précédentes. Les candidats ont fait preuve d'une éthique de travail, d'un progrès scolaire et d'un potentiel exceptionnels dans le domaine des arts.

Henock was born in Lubumbashi (Kinshasa) in 1995 in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Henock is of Congolese nationality, son of Barnaba and Marie.
In 2017 he registerd at the National Institute of Arts but around the year 2019 After the death of his older sister Tryphene, he stopped studying for lack of means.
In 2021 Henock resumed his studies, now he is in his last year of dramatic arts with a focus on cinema. For Henock, cinema is a tool of communication for the voiceless.
Faïda was born in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 1997. Faïda is a student at the National Institute of Art (INA) since 2018 and currently in first degree.
Faïda has been passionate about the Arts for several years, in 2020 Faïda started her career as a makeup artist in the film "MALIK" and during the last three months in 2020, Faïda participated as an actress and makeup artist in a few student films at the INA.
Faïda participated in a workshop as well as in the training exercise of Kasomo Productions (KP) in 2021. In August 2021 Faïda was featured in the film "Ima de Dadju.
Nyunga is a 3rd year graduate student at the National Institute of the Arts, with an emphasis on DRAMATIC ART and CINEMA.
Why did Nyunga choose directing? Cinema is a great means of communication and the director is a great engine of facilitating this work (in the cinema, on television, on the radio), the director reaches the greatest number of viewers.
Nyunga chose this path to raise awareness, tell our narrative by educating others and above all to communicate.
Nyunga is also a comedian and actress, she has acted in a few plays and also in films as a silhouette in the film OGURE by director BALOJI.
Ebamba (Micky) was born in Mbuji Mayi, in 1994 in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Micky is the son of the deceased Ajudat Chief Ebamba Mokweke(father) and Ngalula Kasombola(mother).
Micky has lived in Dingila, Bunia, Kisangani, Bumba, Mbandaka and now is in Kinshasa (DRC).
In 2014, Micky finished his secondary school and humanitarian studies at Collège du Réveil. In 2019, Micky worked as an actor in the film group Mystery of Exodus and in September 2019, Micky joined the group Xciné of jorvie muanda.
In 2020, Micky made his first step at the National Institute of Arts (INA) in the dramatic arts section in the cinema department. In 2022, Micky participated in the scriptwriting workshop with the scriptwriter Jean de Loriol and in the workshop of the director Lisa Sallustio in the framework of the European film festival at the French Institute of Kinshasa. In 2022, Micky made his very first documentary film ≪ creation process of the play À DEMAIN MA MORT≫ by Michael Disanka as part of the school film.
In 2023, he portrayed a character role to pay tribute to DG Damien Pwono in≪ I am Damien Pwono≫ directed by Mr. Audy Nkebani.
Apart from that, cinema is the best way that allows Micky to communicate and to share his lived experiences with many people in the world with true and fictional stories.
Mickey has many stories to write that he wants to make films but has been limited because of lack of means.
Fortuna was born in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on June 21, 1997. Fortuna has Congolese nationality, son of Simon and Veronique. Fortuna is a student at the National Institute of Arts (INA) since 2019 and is currently in his final year.
Fortuna has been passionate about the arts for several years. In 2021 Fortuna was facing the world of film at INA. For the last five months of 2021, Fortuna participated as a member of the sound production team in several INA student films. Fortuna also worked on an INA documentary as a production sound recordist.
Fortuna participated in a Kasomo Productions (KP) workshop and training exercise in 2021, where he was trained on KP's modern sound equipment and was the production sound recordist for a short film titled KINPYRE directed by Muhasani Kasomo. Fortuna also worked on a KP project as a sound recordist for a keynote speech by artist Mohombi for the 2021 Congolese Diaspora Summit.
Fortuna is grateful to have worked for the first time with a great Congolese American filmmaker, Muhasani Kasomo, through the 2021 KP film workshop organized by Kasomo Productions at the National Institute of Arts in Kinshasa. It was there that Fortuna was exposed to the world of sound production by Mr. Muhasani Kasomo who is one of his role models in filmmaking..
Jasmine, born in Kinshasa in 1996 in Democratic Republic of Congo
In 2019 Jasmine made her first step at the National Institute of Art in the department of dramatic arts. In 2021 Jasmine was also in the film workshop which was conducted by Mr. Muhasani Kasomo as an actress. Jasmine has participated in several films by Congolese director in various roles assigned.
Today Jasmine is an actress, director, and in addition a finalist at the National Institute of Arts.
